他的免费青旅，给来长沙的年轻人留一盏灯

都说“天下没有免费的午餐”，湖南小伙何东却在长沙开了一家免费青旅，两年来，这间免费青旅共接待2000余人。

It is often said that "there's no such thing as a free lunch." However, He Dong, a young man from Hunan, opened a free youth hostel in Changsha. In the past two years, this free youth hostel has received more than 2,000 people.

何东的青旅位于长沙一个老小区内，300平方米面积，一共五个房间。何东说，青旅一般接待刚毕业、在长沙找工作的年轻人，穷游的大学生，来看病的人，“哪怕是失恋和没找到工作的年轻人，想找个地方歇一歇，都可以来这里。”周末，青旅还会举办活动，费用参与者分摊，大家坐在一起吃饭、唱歌，诉说着自己的故事。

He Dong's youth hostel is located in an old residential community in Changsha. It covers an area of 300 square meters and has five rooms in total. He Dong said that the hostel welcomes young people who have just graduated and are looking for jobs in Changsha, college students on a budget trip, and people who come to see a doctor. "Young people who are heartbroken or unemployed can also come here. They can find a place to rest." On weekends, the hostel holds activities, and the costs are shared by the participants. Everyone sits together, eats, sings, and tells their stories.

这些年，何东当过背包客，创过业，做过公益，他带着背包看世界，资助贫困学生，建了希望小学……“青年作家”“江湖游侠”“理想主义者”，他给自己打了很多标签。2013年，他开了家公司，专门做青年活动和青年社群。“这一路有很多帮助我们的人，2023年是公司创立10周年，我们就开了这家免费青旅。”何东说。

Over the years, He Dong has worked as a backpacker, started a business, and engaged in public welfare. He traveled the world with his backpack, sponsored poor students, and built hope primary schools... He has given himself many labels, such as "young writer", "wanderer with a free spirit", and "idealist". In 2013, he founded a company specializing in youth activities and youth communities. "Many people have offered us help along the way. In 2023, when our company celebrated its 10th anniversary, we opened this free youth hostel," He Dong said.

“现在这个民宿只有300平方米，未来可能会有数千平方米。”何东计划，在长沙打造一个青年综合体，让大家来长沙造梦，“年轻人可以来创业、可以来旅居。很多人被长沙网红城市的标签吸引，但我想让大家感受到长沙不仅时尚潮流，还有人情味。”

"The current hostel is only 300 square meters, but in the future, it may expand to thousands of square meters." He Dong plans to build a youth complex in Changsha to help people pursue their dreams in the city. "Young people can come here to start a business or live as a traveler. Many people are attracted by Changsha's label as an internet - famous city, but I want them to know that Changsha is not only trendy but also full of human warmth."
