非洲友城喜+1!湖南与非洲国家缔结正式友城13对

The Hunan Provincial People's Government and Gauteng Province of the Republic of South Africa reached an agreement on establishing friendship province relationship in Changsha on June 12. So far, Hunan has established 13 pairs of formal sister-city/province ties with relevant African countries.

6月12日，湖南省和南非豪登省在长沙签署建立友好省际关系协议书，至此，湖南与非洲有关国家共缔结正式友城13对。

In recent years, through the international sister cities, Hunan has carried out extensive cooperation with relevant countries in numerous fields such as economy and trade, education, culture, science and technology, and public health, further enhancing Hunan's international reputation and influence. As of now, Hunan has established 111 pairs of international sister cities, including 32 provincial-level pairs, 66 municipal-level pairs, and 13 county-level pairs.

近年来，通过国际友好城市平台，湖南与相关国家在经贸、教育、文化、科技、卫生等众多领域广泛开展合作，进一步提升了湖南国际知名度和影响力。截至目前，湖南共结国际友城111对，其中省级32对、市级66对、县级13对。

By leveraging high-level open platforms such as the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, Hunan has become one of the most active provinces in China for local economic and trade cooperation with Africa. The Gauteng Province, which has established friendly ties with Hunan, is located in the northeast part of South Africa and serves as the country's commercial, financial, and industrial hub. Covering a land area of approximately 18,000 square kilometers with a population of 15.1 million, it is the most populous and densely populated province in South Africa.  The province is divided into three major metropolitan areas and two regional cities, with Johannesburg, known as the "City of Gold," serving as its capital and the largest city in South Africa. In recent years, Gauteng has seen rapid development in manufacturing, finance, and service industries, hosting the headquarters of South Africa's central bank, stock exchange, and numerous multinational corporations.

借助中非经贸博览会等高能级开放平台，湖南已成为全国地方对非经贸合作最为活跃的省份之一。本次与湖南“结好”的豪登省位于南非东北部，是南非的商业、金融和工业中心，面积约1.8万平方公里，人口1510万，是南非人口最多和人口最密集的省份。全省划分为3个大都市和2个地区市，其中约翰内斯堡市为豪登省省会，素有“黄金城”之称，是南非第一大城市。近年来，豪登省制造业、金融业、服务业发展迅速，南非的中央银行、证券交易所以及多家跨国公司的总部坐落在该省。
